A mud tire has to do more than look aggressive. It must find forward bite, keep the machine predictable, and continue working as the ground changes. The Wild Boar Razorback M/T uses a purposeful combination of deep center and shoulder lugs to help riders stay moving through soft terrain.
Deep center lugs do the pulling
The Razorback M/T uses 1.5-inch center lugs that create multiple biting edges across the tire’s contact area. As the tire rotates, those edges press into soft soil and mud instead of relying on a shallow, closely packed street-style pattern. The result is a tread designed to turn engine power into forward movement where ordinary all-terrain tires can begin to spin.
Two-inch shoulders add bite and control
The outer shoulder lugs reach 2 inches deep. They become especially useful when the center of the trail is rutted, when the machine begins to drift sideways, or when a rider needs traction near the edge of a mud hole. Their placement gives the tire another way to search for firmer ground.
Spacing helps the tread clear
Open space between aggressive lugs gives mud somewhere to go as the tire rotates. Maintaining appropriate wheel speed can help the pattern release packed material so fresh tread edges can engage the ground. Conditions, machine setup, and riding technique still matter, but the tire starts with a design made for the job.
A complete set keeps the machine consistent
Running four matching Razorback M/T tires gives the machine the same tread behavior at every corner. Before ordering, confirm tire clearance, wheel diameter, suspension setup, and the manufacturer’s recommendations for your ATV or UTV.
