Staggered sizes, front and rear
The kit uses 22×8-12 tires on the front and 22×10-12 tires on the rear. Both are 22 inches tall and both fit 12-inch wheels, but the rears are wider. A narrower front tire keeps steering light, which is a big deal for younger riders who do not have the strength of an adult. A wider rear tire puts more rubber down where the power goes, helping with traction on climbs and in loose dirt.
Made for smaller machines
Youth ATVs and UTVs come with smaller wheels and tires than full-size machines. A 22-inch tire on a 12-inch wheel is sized for those rides. Swapping to a matched kit gets the machine back to having solid grip without overloading the smaller engine and drivetrain.

A note for parents
