What to think about with 30s
Going to a 30-inch tire on an ATV usually means checking a few things:
- Clearance at the fenders, footwells and A-arms, especially at full turn and full compression.
- Whether your machine needs a lift or aftermarket floorboards to clear the tire.
- Extra load on the clutch and axles from the larger, heavier tire.
Plenty of riders handle these with the right supporting parts, and it pays to plan them ahead of time.
