Static vs. dynamic load
Those two numbers mean different things, and it is worth understanding the difference. Static load is what the rack can hold while the machine is parked. Dynamic load is what it can carry while you are driving, when bumps and turns multiply the forces on the rack. So while the machine is moving, plan around the 200 lb dynamic rating. Keep heavy items low in the bed when you can, and use the roof rack for bulky, lighter gear like bags, tents, blinds and camp chairs.
A spot for a light bar
The built-in light bar mounting location is a practical bonus. A roof-mounted light bar throws light far down the trail, which helps on night rides, early hunts and late chores. Having a place designed for it keeps the install clean instead of rigging up a bracket.
Fitment and roof compatibility
This is the important part: the Outfitter Roof Rack is not compatible with OEM roofs. Plan your roof setup with that in mind before ordering. The rack is made for the Honda Pioneer 1000-6, so confirm your model, since the five-seat and other Pioneer versions are different sizes.
