Important: IRS machines only
Start here, because it matters. SuperATV notes this portal lift is only compatible with machines that have independent rear suspension (IRS). Honda has built Foreman models with different rear setups, so look at your machine before you go any further. If your Foreman has a solid rear axle, this kit is not the right fit.
Why portals on an ATV
A portal gear lift places a gearbox at each wheel. The hub sits lower than the axle, which raises the ATV without the steep suspension angles of a tall bracket lift.
