Clearance and gear reduction
A portal box sits at each wheel and moves the hub below the axle line. The machine rises, but the suspension geometry does not get stretched the way it would with a very tall bracket lift. The gears in each box also reduce the final drive, which helps the engine and belt turn bigger, heavier tires without as much strain.
A wider footprint. This kit increases width by 4 inches per side, for 8 inches total. A wider track makes a lifted RZR more stable on off-camber hills and in ruts. The boxes also use 1.5 inches of forward and rear offset, which helps position the tires in the wheel wells.
Inside the hub boxes
SuperATV uses cool, quiet, precision-ground gears made from 9310 alloy billet steel. Power runs through a 1.5-inch diameter drive shaft made from 4340 hardened steel. Housings come in billet or cast aluminum and are sealed with Thermo-Tork gaskets and rubber O-rings.
