• Does this kit require me to upgrade my ball joints? Absolutely not! High Lifter Long Travel kits are designed to be compatible with your factory ball joints. That being said we do offer two version of this kit that already come with either standard or our upgraded APEXX Ball Joints pre-installed saving you time and hassle during installation.
• Should I add a frame stiffener when installing a long travel kit? This all depends on your riding style. Frame stiffeners help to add some extra rigidity and strength to weak points of the frame especially around your suspension mounting points. Long travel set-ups can add more weight and stress to your frame due to the increased leverage and strengthening those mounting points can help reduce and additional frame flex that may occur during aggressive riding.
