Terache Honda Rancher 420 Heavy Duty Steering Tie Rod Kit

Upgrade your Rancher with a heavy duty steering tie rod kit built for larger tires, portals, mud riding, and demanding off-road use. These HD tie rods are a major improvement over the factory setup, using chromoly steel shafts and tie rod ends for increased strength and durability.

Factory Honda tie rods use soft shafts and aluminum tie rod ends, which can bend or loosen quickly under the added stress of oversized tires, portal gear lifts, and aggressive riding. Our heavy duty tie rod kit is designed to handle that abuse while keeping steering precise and reliable.

These tie rod ends maintain a sealed factory-style design with a high-quality rubber boot. This helps keep mud, water, and debris out of the joint for longer service life and lower maintenance. After repeated OEM tie rod failures on our own test rigs we built this kit to deliver the strength serious riders need without giving up sealed-joint protection.

Installation Note:

The cotter pins included are large than factory and may be difficult to install, we recommend reusing the OEM cotter pins on the outer joints. You must align your steering after installing this HD tie rod kit. Every ATV requires a slightly different alignment, especially if you are running a front bracket lift. Follow the Honda OEM service manual procedure for setting the alignment on your ATV.

Fitment:

Fits all new body style 2014+ Honda Rancher 420 solid rear axle. May fit other models, but fitment is not guaranteed. For rancher IRS use our Foreman tie rods.
