The water at the bottom of the hill looks shallow until the front rack disappears. On a stock Suzuki King Quad, that is the moment you start worrying about the intake, the CVT and the radiator all at once. Deep-water riding is a blast, but only if the machine is ready for it before you drive in.
Our King Quad 450/500/700/750 Radiator Relocation/Snorkel Combo Kit is built for exactly that kind of riding. It is listed for 2005-2023 King Quad models and comes with all the mounting hardware plus detailed installation instructions.
Two problems, one kit
A snorkel raises the points where the engine and belt housing breathe, moving them up where water is far less likely to reach. Water pulled into an intake can do serious engine damage in a hurry, and a wet CVT belt slips and wears. Raising those openings is the core of any deep-water setup.
The radiator relocation side handles cooling. Down low, the stock radiator catches mud and packs solid, and a clogged radiator cannot shed heat. Moving it up out of the slop keeps air flowing through the fins so the King Quad does not overheat halfway through a long, slow mud run.
Prepping your King Quad for deep water
The kit does the heavy lifting, but a few habits finish the job:
- Check that every snorkel connection is tight and sealed after install.
- Look over your electrical connections and keep them clean and protected.
- Check your oil and drain points after a deep ride for any sign of water.
- Rinse the relocated radiator after mud rides so it keeps breathing.
None of that is complicated, and it keeps a fun day from turning into a long tow home.
Why a combo kit makes sense
Riders who add a snorkel usually end up wanting the radiator moved too, because the places that need a snorkel are the same places that bury a radiator. Buying both pieces together means one install session and parts designed to work with each other on the King Quad, instead of piecing together brackets and hoses from different sources.
Confirm your model first
Suzuki built the King Quad in several displacements across a long run of years, so check your exact model and year against the listing before you order. If you have already changed the front end, added a winch or moved other parts around, think about how the relocated radiator will sit. Not sure?
